Robotics startup Figure has announced that its next-generation humanoid, Figure 02, has completed a major production milestone at BMW Group's Spartanburg assembly plant. Operating continuously over a two-week period, the humanoid completed over 1,000 successful sheet-metal parts placements in the chassis assembly line.

Sheet-Metal Manipulation: Figure 02 identifies, grabs, and inserts metallic plates into welding fixtures with sub-millimeter accuracy.

Real-Time Visual Feedback: Dual-camera neural network architectures allow the robot to adjust its grip dynamically if parts are slightly misaligned.

Production-Rate Integration: The robot operates at speeds matching traditional robotic arms while retaining mobile dexterity.
